The instrument is finished in an attractive oil varnish that has been tweaked over years of production for the Australian market.\nAs with most FPS student outfits the violin is fitted with a lightweight tailpiece with inbuilt adjusters for ease of tuning. Pegs, fingerboard, chinrest and endpin are all ebony and are fitted to the instrument.
