Many of these charming and lyrical melodies were written with young students in mind, highlighting how even history’s most prominent composers took interest in encouraging the next generation of musicians. Likewise, this compilation promises a rich and inspiring musical experience for developing players, exploring the music of ten women composers and notable writers Enrique Granados, Florence Price, Rentarō Taki, Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, and José White. While some key signatures and ranges have been changed to make each piece accessible, every effort has been made to preserve the spirit and integrity of the original work.
