Description

SKU 44006916

National and state standards for music education have re-emphasized the need for more high-quality transcription pieces for the concert band. Every musician should develop a familiarity with history's major composers– what an exciting and productive way to introduce Brahms to your concert band! In this arrangement the thematic material is presented in its original order. Limiting the development somewhat makes this memora ble Brahms work accessible to the Grade 3 band. This also provides a great opportunity for cross-curricular work. A classic! Academic Festival Overture Publisher: Curnow Music Series: Curnow Music Concert Band
