Design features, besides efficiency, light in weight, small in size, reproduction of a truthfull tone, have mainly been fast attack time, low distortion  and high power handling. All of this is extremely demanding and requires a lot of attention to all detail. Cab One is a two way full range loudspeaker system. To extend the bass range we decided to apply two 10" speakers in push-pull mode. This allows smaller cabinet size  keeping the low cut-off frequency and thus allows more low end besides performing with less distortion. Instead of a horn or tweeter whose 'harshness' we are not really friends with we relied on the performance of the AER 8" twin cone extended range chassis to cover the mid and high frequency range.
