Description

SKU KM09784

This dramatic tone poem is a musical portrait of the tragic heroine Antigone of Greek mythology. Following ABA form, the warmth and passion of the middle segment contrasts beautifully with the power and strength of the opening and closing sections. In his score notes Del Borgo emphasizesthe importance of playing the chromatic alterations of the minor scales that occur with accurate intonation for maximum impact. Duration 6:10.
