Description

SKU 10816PT

Compared to Nylon, the New Nylgut produces a better sound and stays in tune better, this is because the moisture absorption is less of .1% against the 2.0% of nylon normally employed for the musical strings. Due to the higher density, similar to that of pure gut , the New Nylgut produces a better sound than nylon and it is not so metallic like those of the so- called ‘Carbon’ (Fluorocarbon) PVDF strings. In other words, the New Nylgut is probably the first genuine synthetic gut in the world. 21U BARITONE – NEW NYLGUT POSITION NOTE DIAMETER (mm) TENSION (kg) GAUGE (in) TENSION (lbs) 1 ^ E 0,67 5,28 0,0260 11,65 2 ^ B 0,84 4,66 0,0330 10,27 3 ^ G 0,60 5,03 0,0240 11,10 4 ^ D 0,70 4,45 0,0280 9,80
