The work was composed in 2008 and also acts as cantus firmus of my last chamber opera AURA (mainly in scenes 1 and 11). What matters is the role of the two mechanisms, since the two instruments have something mechanical for me. I deliberately created this page as a musical substance. Further developed in relation to the Arquitecturas del silencio, the piece is a reflection on mirrors, symmetries and room acoustics as well as generally acoustic processes in the musical material.
