An Auralex HoverDeck v2 Drum Isolator is the ideal way to decouple your drum set from the floor or drum riser - thereby reducing the resonant hum and giving the drums a much punchier tighter and clear response.Benefits:- Decouples drums or other instruments from stages and floors- Optimizes the tone of your drum kit- Reduces structure resonance- Fabric-covered panels keep your kit in-place- Expandable to accommodate larger setupsResonant hum works in two-ways being either transmitted to the shells by way of vibrations that cause sympathetic vibrations to be amplified and picked up by either your ears or any microphones on the kit. Or the second way being that the drum kit causing the floor to vibrate - causing bleed into other microphones or just general stage noise. Either way the HoverDeck v2 is the perfect solution minimising resonant hum both ways. Both to and from the drums.8 panels (4 packs) will accommodate most four and five-piece drum kits. A total of 12 panels (6 packs) can be used for bigger drum setups. All HoverDeck configurations use a set of low-profile isolating boards that assemble quickly via strategically placed hook and loop fasteners. An optional rugged road case is also available by special order.
