Auralex StopGap Acoustic Sealant is a specially engineered water-based sealant for reducing sound transmission at wall perimeters wall systems around electrical boxes and in any cracks and gaps in your studio that require sealing.Benefits:- Wall ceiling & floor applications- Maintains STC of wall system- Permanently flexible & paintable- Meets ASTM C-834 standards for flame retardancy- 0.8 Litre tube for maximum coverage (approx. 12 linear metres with a 9.5mm bead)When dry StopGap has a tough outer film while the sealant within remains pliable and flexible for up to 5 times longer than other sealants which means it won’t transmit structural vibrations as a completely hardened sealant would. Unlike similar products StopGap has no residual runoff and is easily installed with a large caulking gun (must fit a 0.8 Litre tube). Dries white.
