Description

The Auralex SubDude-HT Subwoofer Isolation Platform features the same design as the SubDude-II (62/SUBDUDE2) but on a larger scale for bigger subwoofers in large home theatres hi-fi systems and professional recording studios. Instantly diminishing room-rattle and structural vibrations by decoupling your sub from it’s resting surface and other surroundings the SubDude-HT allows the true sound of your sub to shine through with a cleaner and tighter bass response reduced colouration from vibrational artifacts and more clarity across the low frequencies. Benefits:- Improves the sound of your subwoofer- Improves your sub’s clarity and extends the perceived low-frequency response- Decouples your subwoofer from the floor- Diminishes structural vibrations for less resonance- Reduces sound transmission to neighboring spaces- Reduces coloration and muddy resonanceThe patented isolator platform design is built from the bottom up from a 1” slab of Auralex Platfoam an absorbing and decoupling material. The top layer is a functionally inert velour-covered (for aesthetic purposes) MDF platform that comfortably supports most large subwoofers.Technical details:The SubDude-HT Subwoofer Isolation Platform measures 46cm wide x 56cm deep x 4.5cm high and can comfortably support subs of up 136kgs. For smaller subwoofers the smaller SubDude-II (62/SUBDUDE2) is recommended.
