The Auralex SubDude-II Subwoofer Isolator is the latest generation of the original and popular SubDude with a new low profile design perfect for small subwoofers in home theatres hi-fi systems and recording studios. Placing your sub upon the SubDude-II effectively decouples it from the surrounding furniture making translation of your sub’s acoustic energy into your listening space via direct contact a thing of the past. Benefits:- Dramatically reduces structural vibrations through walls floors ceilings and furniture- Preserves the accuracy of the original audio being produced- Tightens bass and increases low-end clarity- Reduces coloration and muddy resonance- Great for home theater & hi-fi speakers- Reduces sound transmission to neighboring spacesThe patented platform design features a velour covered structural layer floating on a base cushion of Auralex Platfoam. By negating the influence of vibration entering back into the sub (or directly into your ears) the result will be a clearer more accurate bass response with definition - the true sound of your sub. Technical details:The SubDude-II Isolation Platform measures 38cm x 38cm x 4.5cm and supports Subwoofers up to 90kgs.For larger Subwoofers the SubDude-HT (62/SUBDUDEHT) is recommended.
