Auralex U-Boat Floor Floaters are a proprietary designed U-shaped decoupler channel used in the construction of floating floors to isolate and add air space between the surrounding structure and the floating floor platform. The acoustic isolation achieved by a floating floor greatly enhances the sonic clarity and low frequency definition sought after in high end studios and also help prevent sound from escaping.Benefits:- Decouples floor beams from supporting structure- Reduces structural vibrations- New formulation with improved isolationU-Boats are the industry’s most affordable floating solution and are much easier to use than the exorbitant “pucks” that have been used in the past.
