The Turkish lute baglama enjoys growing popularity – meanwhile also being a competition instrument at 'Jugend musiziert'. The textbook is aimed at musicians of any age who have some knowledge of music and are beginners on the baglama and provides information on the three popular basic Selpe techniques pence picking and tapping. Apart from numerous melodious pieces this method contains an attractive selection of well-known Anatolian songs in melodious arrangements by Kenan Tulek in an appropriate progressive order according to the pupil's progress.
