Delivering the world's lightest 50W tube amp with new boutique styling courtesy of blues guitarist Toby Lee, the St. James TL50 6L6 Toby Lee Signature Amplifier from Blackstar is a versatile and eye-catching all-tube amp head with matching 2x12 cabinet for a great sounding, vintage-voiced player's amp. Powered by 6L6 tubes, this amp head brings smooth crunch and sparkling cleans, perfect for blues and rock styles, along with the celebrated features shared by all St. James amp models, such as a USB output with Cab Rig advanced DSP cabinet emulation, power reduction down to 5W (plus a Sag Mode for vintage-style compression), a series FX loop, and two footswitchable channels, with a selectable boost for channel 2.

 

The St. James Toby Lee signature amp sports studio-quality digital reverb with dedicated level control, and you also get plenty of hands on control of your tone, with separate channel volumes, master volume, preamp gain, and 3-band tone control. You'll be hard pressed to find a tube amp combo at this power level that is easier to transport to gigs, with a head that weighs only 13.22 lb, and the matching cabinet sports a removal middle backplate for going from a closed- to open-back cabinet design. This amp combo includes a power cable, a speaker cable, and a footswitch, so you can get to jamming right away.

Studio-Ready I/O
The St. James is ready for everything from studio recording and bedroom practice to full-on stage performances in medium to large spaces. You can even remove the middle backplate to turn the cabinet from a closed-back to half open-back for a different sound.
