Description

SKU 28G12M65-CREAMBACKEF

The G12M Greenback is perhaps the definitive vintage Celestion ceramic magnet guitar speaker. Developed in the mid-sixties it was quickly adopted by players like Hendrix Clapton Beck and Page who typified the louder and more aggressive blues rock playing styles that came to characterize that era.The G12M-65 Creamback produces the familiar woody G12M tone but handles greater power making it ideally suited for today's amps when a vintage tone is desired. The increased power handling brings with it low end grunt complementing the warm and vocal mid range crunchy upper- mids and sweet refined highs.Chassis type Pressed steelDC resistance re 6.7? & 13.1?Frequency range 75-5000HzMagnet type CeramicMagnet weight 35oz 0.99kgNominal diameter 12" 305mmNominal impedance 8? & 16?Power rating 65WrmsResonance frequency Fs 75HzSensitivity 97dBVoice coil diameter 1.75" 44.5mmVoice coil material Round copperMounting InformationCut-out diameter 11.1" 283mmDiameter 12.2" 309mmMagnet structure diameter 5.9" 150mmMounting slot dimensions 0.31" 7.9mm ØMounting slot PCD 11.7" 297mmNumber of mounting slots 8Overall depth 5.1" 130mmUnit weight 7.9lb 3.6kg
