Performed by David Syme, piano. Accompaniment: Stuttgart Symphony Orchestra. Conductor: Emil Kahn.

This romantic concerto is one of the composer's few works with orchestra and displays great lyricism and grandeur. Revealing Chopin's unique understanding of the piano, it is a challenging and rewarding work which combines poetry and excitement as only this master could. A high point in the literature, essential for every serious pianist.

Includes an authoritative, newly engraved 112-page music score and high quality demonstration tracks and backing tracks online. The audio is accessed online using the unique code inside each book and can be streamed or downloaded. The audio files include PLAYBACK+, a multi-functional audio player that allows you to slow down audio without changing pitch, set loop points, change keys, and pan left or right.
