Description

The Complete Children's Recorder Method is the perfect book for young students. The imaginative online audio turns even the simplest one-note exercise into a fun experience, with lyrics accompanying each song. Large notes are used throughout and each melody is attractively illustrated. Clear and concise instructions introduce technique and notation concepts gradually. The book uses many Icelandic and folk songs, some of which may even date from the time of Leif Eriksson! This gives the method a unique flavor and allows the introduction of many unusual melodic and rhythmic elements. The book starts with the six easiest notes on the recorder and the accompaniment will help the student happily gain a solid rhythmic feeling.
