A collection of hip musical compositions by award-winning bassist Tyrone Brown. Compositions for Bass offers 10 pieces in various grooves including Swing, Latin and odd meters. Includes access to an online audio recording that has Mr. Brown performing each piece - eight on acoustic bass and two on acoustic bass guitar. The pieces are also playable on electric bass guitar. Some tunes are suitable for solos or duets. The solo from each piece is also transcribed. In standard notation.
