Description

SKU NYXL45130MS

D'Addario NYXL Nickel Wound 5 string D'Addario NYXL45130MS — 45-130 Regular Light, 5-String Multiscale Bass Strings NYXL is D'Addario's flagship uncoated bass string, built to outperform their standard sets on every front — greater break strength, rock-solid tuning stability and a livelier harmonic response. The New York-made hex steel core is paired with nickel-plated steel wrap wire and a reworked core-to-wrap ratio, giving these strings a familiar, playable feel while pushing extra punch and clarity into the low end. This particular set is purpose-built for 5-string fanned-fret (multiscale) basses, in D'Addario's most popular gauge spread — 45-130. It's a genuinely versatile all-rounder, equally at home across rock, metal, funk or session work. Uncoated, round wound construction NY Steel hex core for enhanced tuning stability and break strength Reformulated nickel-plated steel wrap wire for accentuated mid-range presence and bite 5-string set, multiscale (fanned fret) specific Gauges: .045 / .055 / .075 / .100 / .130 Made in the USA at D'Addario's New York facility Ideal for players wanting the classic NYXL boost in tone and stability, tailored specifically to multiscale 5-string setups.
