Description

SKU DP117R

The Dimarzio DP117 HS3 Pickup in Red is a highly regarded choice for guitarists seeking a smooth and versatile sound. Since its introduction in the early 1980s, the HS-3™ has become a favorite among players using Strat®-style guitars, particularly in the realm of classical metal.

This pickup is designed to provide a sweet overdrive tone without the harshness often associated with high-output pickups. Its smooth characteristics ensure that the sound remains clear and defined, even when pushed through heavily distorted amplifiers. As a result, the HS-3™ avoids muddiness and retains clarity, making it an excellent option for both live performances and studio recordings.

Key features of the Dimarzio DP117 HS3 Pickup include:

- Smooth and relatively quiet operation

- Sweet overdrive tone without jagged edges

- Versatile performance in live and studio settings

- Noise-free operation, ideal for various playing environments

Whether you're looking to enhance your guitar's tone or seeking a reliable pickup for heavy distortion, the Dimarzio DP117 HS3 Pickup in Red is an exceptional choice that delivers quality and performance.
