Description

SKU DP174AW

The Dimarzio DP174 Red Velvet Pickup in Aged White is designed to bridge the gap between the vintage Strat® bridge pickup sound and the classic Broadcaster® or Tele® tone. This unique pickup offers a versatile sound profile that combines the punch of a Tele® with the sting of a Strat®.

Key features of the Red Velvet Pickup include:

- A bottom-loaded Power Plate™ that enhances the punch of your sound

- Custom coil-winding for a distinctive sting

- A True Velvet™ magnet stagger for improved tonal clarity

- A hand-calibrated magnet structure that provides a unique mid-range “growl”

This pickup is an excellent choice for players looking to achieve a sound that is both classic and contemporary. When paired with a set of True Velvet™ pickups, the Red Velvet™ bridge pickup delivers a rich, dynamic tone that stands out in any musical setting.
