Description

SKU DP189R

The DiMarzio DP189 Tone Zone S Pickup in Red is a high-performance humbucking replacement pickup designed specifically for Stratocaster guitars. This pickup brings the renowned sound of the original Tone Zone to a single-coil size, making it an ideal choice for guitarists seeking a powerful and versatile tone.

Featuring a patented dual-resonance design, the Tone Zone S delivers excellent mid-range and bass response, producing rich harmonics that enhance your playing. It is particularly well-suited for installation in the classic slanted Strat bridge position, where it warms up higher frequencies and brightens lower notes to create a balanced sound.

Key features of the DiMarzio DP189 Tone Zone S Pickup include:

- Recommended for bridge position in solid body guitars

- Suitable for neck position when a warm jazz guitar sound is desired

- 4-conductor wiring allows for parallel humbucking and split-coil modes

- Ceramic magnet for enhanced tonal clarity

- Resistance of 12.39 Kohm

This pickup is an excellent match for other DiMarzio models such as the Pro Track, The Chopper, and Fast Track 1, providing a seamless combination for a variety of musical styles.

Introduced in 2003, the Tone Zone S is designed to capture the essence of its full-sized counterpart while adapting to the unique specifications of a single-coil pickup. Experience the powerful sound and versatility of the DiMarzio DP189 Tone Zone S Pickup in Red, and elevate your guitar playing to new heights.
