Description

SKU DP402BL

The DiMarzio DP402 Virtual Vintage Blues Pickup in Blue is designed to enhance your guitar playing experience, particularly for blues music. This pickup is recommended for use in the bridge position but can be utilized in all positions, making it versatile for various playing styles.

Key features of the DiMarzio DP402 include:

- Magnet: Alnico 5

- Wiring: 4 Conductor

- Resistance: 8.18 Kohm

- String Spacing: Standard

- Year of Introduction: 1997

- Quick Connect: No

The Virtual Vintage Blues Pickup offers more power and warmth than a typical single-coil pickup, allowing for a rich and full sound. It excels in handling hard picking and opens up beautifully when paired with an overdriven amplifier, ensuring that your sound stands out rather than shrinking away. This pickup is particularly effective for achieving a fat neck position tone and is an excellent choice for the bridge position, especially in thin-sounding guitars or when using light gauge strings.

In addition to its impressive tonal qualities, the Virtual Vintage Blues Pickup is designed to be virtually silent, with minimal hum, making it suitable for studio recordings and live performances alike.

Please note that customizable options are available for all DiMarzio pickups, including variations in pickup color, covers, and polepiece colors. Custom orders can be placed by phone and may take 6-8 weeks for delivery if ordered before the 1st of the month.

Elevate your guitar's sound with the DiMarzio DP402 Virtual Vintage Blues Pickup, a perfect choice for blues enthusiasts looking for a reliable and powerful pickup.
