Description

SKU DP182V

The DiMarzio Fast Track 2 DP182V Guitar Pickup is a powerful single-coil sized pickup that delivers an impressive sound without taking up extra space. Designed for the bridge position, this pickup offers three times the output of an average single-coil, with a pronounced mid-range and bass punch, making it ideal for achieving a rich, overdriven tone.

Key features of the Fast Track 2 include:

- Recommended for bridge position

- Quick Connect wiring for easy installation

- 4 conductor wiring for versatile options

- Ceramic magnet for enhanced tonal characteristics

- Resistance of 18.07 Kohm

Introduced in 1991, the Fast Track 2 is often compared to DiMarzio's Super 3 pickup, as it embodies a similar sound profile. For optimal performance, it is recommended to use a 500K volume control to enhance the top end. Pairing the Fast Track 2 with hotter neck pickups such as The Chopper, Pro Track, Air Norton S, or BC-1 will create a guitar with a powerful and heavy sound. For a balanced setup, consider using brighter models like the Cruiser or Fast Track 1 in the middle position.

With its robust output and tonal versatility, the DiMarzio Fast Track 2 DP182V is an excellent choice for guitarists seeking to elevate their sound.
