Description

SKU DP116B

The Dimarzio HS-2 Single Coil Size Humbucker Pickup in Black (SKU: DP116B) is a renowned replacement pickup designed specifically for Strat-style guitars. Since its introduction in the early 1980s, the HS-2 has gained a reputation for delivering a classic vintage tone that guitarists cherish.

This pickup features a unique humbucking design that significantly reduces noise, making it ideal for players looking to achieve that iconic vintage sound without the interference typically associated with single-coil pickups. In humbucking mode, the HS-2 produces a solid, natural sound that is cleaner and brighter than conventional humbuckers. When switched to single-coil mode, it offers one of the best vintage tones available, further enhanced by its patented design that minimizes noise.

Key features of the Dimarzio HS-2 pickup include:

- Humbucking Strat replacement pickup

- Vintage tone highly regarded since the early 1980s

- Output level of 90mV

- Finished in sleek black for an attractive look

- Used by renowned guitarists such as Eric Johnson, Richie Kotzen, Bob Kulick, and Earl Slick

This pickup is an excellent choice for guitarists seeking to enhance their instrument's tone with a proven vintage-sounding humbucker that perfectly balances clarity and warmth. Whether you're using rack systems or high-gain amps, the HS-2 provides versatility and exceptional performance.
