Description

SKU DP116C

The DiMarzio HS-2 Single Coil Size Humbucker Pickup in Creme (SKU: DP116C) is a highly regarded addition to any guitarist's setup, boasting a rich history as the first humbucking Strat replacement pickups made by DiMarzio in the early 1980s.

The HS-2 is celebrated for its unique tonal qualities. In humbucking mode, it delivers a solid, natural sound that is cleaner and brighter than traditional humbuckers. When switched to single-coil mode, it produces one of the finest vintage tones available, while its patented design minimizes noise, making it quieter than standard single-coil pickups. This feature, combined with its dead-quiet humbucking mode, makes the HS-2 an excellent choice for use with rack systems and high-gain amplifiers.

Recommended for all positions in a classic Strat configuration, the HS-2 is versatile enough to work in all three pickup positions. It can also be combined with other DiMarzio models such as the HS-3 and HS-4 for a mixed set. Additionally, it pairs well with pickups like the PAF Pro, FRED, Air Classic, and The Humbucker From Hell in neck and bridge positions.

Whether you're looking to enhance your guitar's sound or seeking a reliable pickup for various playing styles, the DiMarzio HS-2 is an outstanding option.
