Description

SKU DP151N

The Dimarzio PAF Pro Humbucker Pickup with a polished nickel cover is engineered to deliver a classic tone with a sleek and durable finish. This pickup is designed for electric guitars, providing a clear, balanced sound with enhanced midrange presence, making it a versatile choice for various playing styles.

- Polished nickel cover for a smooth and shiny appearance

- Classic PAF-style tone with enhanced midrange clarity

- Designed for balanced and dynamic sound

- Ideal for guitarists seeking a reliable pickup that combines vintage aesthetics with modern tonal performance

The PAF Pro was developed during the rise of chops-intensive playing and the popularity of high-gain amps and rack systems. This pickup combines significant presence and "cut" with an open-sounding PAF vibe. Its transparent sound allows the PAF Pro to slice through heavy processing, ensuring clarity where darker-sounding pickups may get lost.

Low notes exhibit both snap and chunk, while a spike in the mid-range produces a subtle “aw” vowel sound, reminiscent of a wah-wah pedal in mid-operation. The treble response is carefully tweaked to deliver highs that are prominent without becoming brittle. The PAF Pro excels as a neck pickup in nearly any guitar and serves as an exceptional bridge pickup when high output isn't required.
