Originally introduced in the early Seventies, this pickup revolutionized the world of electric guitar pickups and remains a favorite among rock and metal musicians.

The Super Distortion is specifically designed to push tube amplifiers into total overdrive, making it the standard against which all other high-output pickups are measured. Its unique tonal characteristics provide a perfect blend of power and clarity, allowing both single notes and chords to project with a wall of sound.

Key features include:

- High-output electric guitar pickup

- Polished nickel cover for a smooth, shiny finish

- Delivers strong, aggressive distortion tones

- Ideal for rock and metal styles

- 4-conductor wiring for versatile options, including split and series-parallel modes

With its thick, boosted mids, big lows, and fat highs, the Super Distortion has been the sound of countless platinum records, played by iconic musicians such as Ace Frehley, Al Di Meola, and Paul Gilbert. This pickup not only offers exceptional performance but also adds a stylish touch to your instrument, making it perfect for both stage and studio use.
