Description

SKU DP218GN

The DiMarzio Super Distortion S Single Coil Sized Pickup in Green (SKU: DP218GN) offers the renowned performance of the classic Super Distortion humbucker in a single coil-sized format, designed specifically for Stratocaster-style guitars. This pickup is a direct replacement for the bridge position and is engineered to deliver the same powerful tone that has made the original Super Distortion a standard for high-output pickups.

Key features of the Super Distortion S include:

- 4-conductor wiring for flexible installation options, including parallel humbucking and split-coil modes.

- Optimized for the slanted bridge position of a 25.5-inch scale guitar, ensuring a smoother treble response and tighter bass response.

- Excellent single-coil sound in split mode, providing a tone that is neither brittle nor weak.

- Recommended for use in the bridge position of solid body guitars, though it can also be used in the neck and middle positions.

Specifications:

- Magnet: Ceramic

- Resistance: 13.18 Kohm

- Year of Introduction: 2005

- Quick Connect: Yes

The Super Distortion S pairs well with other DiMarzio pickups, such as the Pro Track, The Chopper, and Fast Track 1, making it a versatile choice for guitarists seeking to enhance their sound with a high-output, dynamic pickup.
