Description

SKU DP218PK

The DiMarzio Super Distortion S Single Coil Sized Pickup in Pink offers the renowned performance of the original Super Distortion pickup, reimagined for a single coil-sized format. This pickup is designed as a direct replacement for Strat-style guitars, providing the same powerful tone and output that has made the Super Distortion a worldwide standard for high-output pickups.

With its innovative construction, the Super Distortion S is optimized for installation in the slanted bridge position of a 25.5-inch scale guitar. DiMarzio has adjusted the specifications from the original Super Distortion humbuckers to enhance treble response, making it smoother, while tightening the bass response for a more balanced sound.

Key features include:

- 4-conductor wiring for versatile parallel humbucking and split-coil modes

- Recommended for bridge position in solid body guitars, but can also be used in neck and middle positions

- Excellent single-coil sound in split mode that maintains warmth without brittleness

- Quick Connect capability for easy installation

- Ceramic magnet with a resistance of 13.18 kOhm

The Super Distortion S is a perfect match for bridge position combinations with other DiMarzio pickups like the Pro Track, The Chopper, and Fast Track 1.

Experience the power and versatility of the DiMarzio Super Distortion S Single Coil Sized Pickup, and elevate your guitar's sound with its high-output performance and rich tonal quality.
