Description

SKU DP422PK

DiMarzio The Injector Neck Pickup DP422PK is a signature pickup designed in collaboration with renowned guitarist Paul Gilbert. Known for his remarkable musicianship and technical prowess, Gilbert has partnered with DiMarzio to create pickups that meet the demands of modern playing styles.

This neck pickup features a modern sound profile that is warmer and louder than traditional vintage single-coils, boasting an output of 160mV. The Injector Neck is hum-canceling, making it ideal for high-gain settings, and it excels in tracking high-speed solos without losing clarity or becoming muddy.

Key features of the DiMarzio Injector Neck Pickup include:

- Designed for neck position, but can also be used in bridge and middle positions

- Warmer and louder than typical vintage single-coils

- Tracks high-speed solos effectively

- Full, well-balanced clean sound

- Approximately 40% less magnet pull than standard single-coils for enhanced speed and dynamic response

Paul Gilbert's setup on his album "Fuzz Universe" features the Injector Neck Model paired with the Area 67 in the middle and the Injector Bridge Model, providing a versatile range of tones. The Injector Neck Pickup is perfect for players looking to achieve both vintage tones and heavier sounds, making it a valuable addition to any guitar.
