The DiMarzio The Injector Neck Pickup DP422RD is designed for guitarists seeking a modern sound with enhanced output and clarity. This pickup offers a warmer and louder performance compared to typical vintage single-coils, featuring an output of 160mV and hum-canceling capabilities.

One of the standout features of the Injector Neck Model is its ability to track high-speed solos at high gain without losing definition. It maintains a full, well-balanced, and clean sound, making it ideal for a variety of playing styles. With approximately 40% less magnet-pull than standard single-coils, it provides superior speed and dynamic range, responding effectively to pick attack.

This pickup was notably used by Paul Gilbert, who paired it with the Area 67 in the middle and the Injector Bridge Model in the bridge position on his guitar for the album "Fuzz Universe." The Injector Neck Model stands out for its louder and warmer tone, complementing the vintage sound of the Area 67 and allowing for diverse tonal colors in positions 2 and 4.
