Description

SKU DP402B

The DiMarzio Virtual Vintage Blues Pickup in Black (DP402B) is expertly crafted to deliver authentic blues tones with exceptional clarity and responsiveness. This pickup excels when paired with an overdriven amp, providing rich, warm sounds that hold up to aggressive playing styles, making it an ideal choice for guitarists seeking a classic blues vibe with modern performance.

Key features of the Virtual Vintage Blues Pickup include:

- Output: 145mV

- Magnet: Alnico 5

- Resistance: 8.18 kOhm

- Wiring: 4 Conductor

- Recommended Position: Bridge (but can be used in all positions)

- String Spacing: Standard

- Year of Introduction: 1997

This pickup offers a versatile and dynamic sound, perfect for enhancing your guitar's tonal character. It withstands hard picking and opens up beautifully when played through an overdriven amp, allowing the sound to jump out of the speakers. The Virtual Vintage Blues Pickup is particularly effective in the bridge position, especially for guitars that may sound thin or when using light gauge strings.

Additionally, it provides a fat neck position sound and is an excellent match for a full-size bridge humbucker in the neck and middle positions. As part of the Virtual Vintage family, it operates quietly with minimal hum, ensuring a clean performance.

Whether you're a seasoned blues player or looking to explore new tonal possibilities, the DiMarzio Virtual Vintage Blues Pickup is a premium choice for achieving that sought-after blues sound.
