The Humitron Humidifier for Double Bass helps protect wooden instruments from the effects of dry air by gradually releasing moisture inside the instrument. Its internal retention material can absorb up to ten times its weight in water, releasing moisture as vapour through precision vents along the length of the tube. Designed specifically for double bass, the Humitron features a flexible tube that makes it easy to position inside the instrument, while remaining rigid enough to avoid simply lying flat. The instrument-specific cap helps keep it securely positioned, while sealed end plugs help prevent dripping. Made from non-vinyl, non-allergenic material, the Humitron uses carefully calculated vent sizes and quantities to provide a gradual and effective release of moisture. The moisture-absorbing stem is specifically sized for double bass, providing a simple, passive way to help maintain humidity in dry conditions or air-conditioned environments. Made in the USA by RDM.
