Description

The new Enrico Solid Top bass outfits have been revised and tweaked and FPS are very pleased to deliver a bass outfit perfectly suited for the school market. Now constructed in the J Francis Factory this upgraded outfit has a high quality solid spruce top with carved coronet and the entire body is finished in a beautiful satin dark red/brown. The design has been changed and these models are now styled in the Da Gamba pattern. This shape is superior for the school system – the elimination of ‘violin corners’ greatly reduces the risk of damaging the solid spruce top. The included maple bridge is pre-fitted with height adjusters allowing flexibility for both climatic and playing style changes (pizzicato or arco). The fingerboard and tailpiece are both high quality, tight-grained ebony not usually found in student instruments – ebony of this grade is highly desirable for tonal, longevity and serviceability reasons. An excellent ribbed solid tube endpin with jumbo threaded rubber stopper is also prefitted (spare stoppers available). The ESP Deluxe bass bag included in the outfit is well padded to protect against damage and has 10 handles for ease of mobility. The bag features a dedicated sheet music/book pocket, 2 pouches for accessories and of course a bow pocket loaded with a high quality FPS Brazilwood bass bow with fully lined ebony frog and parisian eye (default French bow can be swapped to German by request), an Enrico branded polishing cloth and name tag.
