The Eclipse shape is immediately identified by its world-renowned single Cut-away solid carve-top mahogany body. Highlighted features include Dual Humbucker pickups, 3-way toggle switch and the Eclipse style 3-a-side tuners headstock.

Guitars in the LTD 1000 Series are designed to offer the tone, feel, looks and quality that working professional musicians require in an instrument, and the LTD EC-1000 has consistently ranked among the world’s most popular guitar models for the past 20+ years by delivering the high quality single-cutaway guitar shape designed for serious musicians at a price that everyone can afford. With the incredible Violet Andromeda finish, this EC-1000 model is simply mind blowing in the way it changes color between shades of purple, blue, and even greenish tints as it reflects light from various angles. A set-neck design for smooth access to the higher frets, it has a mahogany body and a three-piece mahogany neck. The EC-1000 Violet Andromeda features Fishman Fluence Modern Humbucker active pickups (Alnico in the neck position, Ceramic in the bridge), with a push-pull control to activate the second voicing. Premier components include LTD locking tuners and a TonePros locking TOM bridge and tailpiece.
