Description

SKU GMMOR154

Written in memory of a beloved orchestra conductor this gorgeous piece is perfect for any occasion. The piece opens with the theme simply stated in upper strings with a soft accompanying pizzicato ostinato in lower strings. With beautiful melodic passages cello arpeggios and lovely viola countermelodies the piece builds toward a stunning conclusion and can be a great vehicle for developing legato bowing and expressive playing.
