Description

The ten songs on texts by the most famous Turkish poets were recorded on CD in 2013 by Serenad Bagcan and Fazil Say under the title Ilk Sarkilar (First Songs). Among other things, they form the melodic nucleus for numerous large-format works Says such as the Nazim Oratorio and the Metin Altiok Requiem . Their own color reminds of French chansons and world music. The cycle can also be realized on the piano alone.
