Description

SKU AAF6909

This Starfire I DC adds Guild's own vibrato tailpiece to the double-cutaway semi-hollow platform, with a roller tension bar for smooth, stable pitch changes and extra tonal versatility. The body is an arched maple top, back and sides finished in Pelham Blue, built around a solid mahogany centre block that keeps feedback under control.

A pair of Guild HB-2 humbuckers with Alnico II magnets covers everything from warm jazz tones to gritty rock overdrive, and each volume knob doubles as a push-pull coil-split for single-coil textures when you need them.

  • Semi-hollow double-cutaway body with arched maple top, back and sides
  • Solid mahogany centre block for feedback resistance
  • Guild Vibrato Tailpiece with roller tension bar
  • Mahogany neck with a Modern Thin U profile
  • Indian rosewood fingerboard, 24.75" scale, 22 frets
  • Guild HB-2 humbuckers with push-pull coil-splitting
  • Guild Tune-O-Matic bridge and Guild Vintage 18 tuners
