Description

Twelve strings, a flamed maple top in cherry red and Guild's semi-hollow Starfire IV body: this one is built for jangle. The ST designation means it swaps the traditional harp tailpiece for a stopbar, which tightens up the string anchoring and gives the guitar noticeably more sustain and punch than a trapeze-tailed 12-string.

Guild has been building electric 12-strings since the 1960s, and this one carries that lineage properly. The arched maple body with its solid centre block keeps the twelve-string chime articulate rather than muddy, and a pair of Guild LB-1 humbuckers gives you enough output to drive an amp without losing the shimmer that makes a 12-string worth owning.
