Joseph Haydn's Trumpet Concerto is the most important concert of his genre, which is almost in every orchestral rehearsal. It is also Haydn's most famous - only with corresponding works by Vivaldi, Bach, Mozart, Tchaikovsky and less other comparable - concert. The Universal Edition has won HC Robbins Landon and Edward H. Tarr for publication - a guarantee that this edition will fulfill all the wishes of musicology and practice. The edition contains a detailed preface by HC Robbins Landon and EH Tarr. The Solo instrument appears in both E-flat and B-flat tuning and contains cadenzas by Marius Flothuis and Edward H. Tarr for the first and third movements, as well as an additional cadence for the first movement by Helmut Wobisch.
