Carl Czerny and William Gillock are two of the most celebrated composers turned music teachers and, despite living in different centuries in seperate continents, here they meet and converse across time, over the telephone!

This terrific book of piano studies and short pieces contains 27 rewarding treats by two composers from different centuries, both of whom wrote brief pieces for their pupils which are still favoured today. They are all delightful and stimulating to play and suitable for recitals.

Each melody is accompanied by cartoon strip illustrations by Martina Schneider adding humour and context to the music which will facilitate learning in students.
