Always ensure to reinstall the retaining screw after changing batteries. Should your case not have this retaining screw already installed please return it to your retailer. Swallowing batteries of this type may lead to serious injury in a very short period and possibly result in death due to chemical burns and/or potential perforation of the oesophagus. If you suspect a child has swallowed or inserted a button battery into their mouth, immediately call the 24-hour Poisons Information Centre on 13 11 26 for fast, expert advice. Regularly examine the battery compartment and retaining screw to ensure continued safety. Dispose of used button batteries immediately after removal.
