The Humitron Humidifier for Cello helps protect wooden instruments from the effects of dry air by gradually releasing moisture inside the instrument. Its internal retention material can absorb up to ten times its weight in water, releasing moisture as vapour through precision vents along the length of the tube. Designed specifically for cello, the Humitron clips securely onto the F-hole for easy positioning. Its flexible tube makes it easy to place inside the instrument, while remaining rigid enough to avoid simply lying flat. Sealed end plugs help prevent dripping, while carefully calculated vent sizes and quantities provide a gradual and effective release of moisture. Made from non-vinyl, non-allergenic material, the Humitron provides a simple, passive way to help maintain humidity in dry conditions or air-conditioned environments. The moisture-absorbing stem is sized specifically for cello. Made in the USA by RDM.
