AVD10
Imbued with warm, powerful tone and excellent projection, the AVD design within the Artwood Vintage series offers the tonal benefits of Thermo-Aging, along with the acoustic fullness and complexity provided by the universally popular dreadnought body shape.

Artwood Vintage -
The philosophy behind the Ibanez Artwood series is a “Modern Approach to Acoustic Guitar Tradition.” The Artwood Vintage series recalibrates that approach with additional emphasis on the traditional aspects. Incorporating elements such as distressed finishes, aged hardware, and thermo-aging of tone woods, Artwood Vintage guitars are able to deliver the character, playability, and tone of a vintage acoustic, without the high cost of investment.

Product Features

Soft-V shape Nyatoh neck
The Soft-V shape Nyatoh neck provides increased playing comfort.

Cultured Maple fretboard
Cultured Maple is an engineered tonewood made up of Maple and epoxy. By mixing and compressing with epoxy resin, the wood becomes stronger and more stable, and offers a smooth feel and a solid, yet fat, sound with no dead points on the fretboard.

Thermo Aged™ Solid Sitka Spruce top
Thermo Aged™ Solid Sitka Spruce Top delivers a vintage dry sound.

Thermo Aged™ Solid Okoume back Okoume side
Thermo Aged™ Solid Okoume back and sides offer a wide open resonant sound with vivid tone projection.

Grover® open gear machine heads
Grover® open gear machine heads ensure accurate, stable tuning while reducing headstock weight.

Cultured Maple bridge
The Cultured Maple bridge transfers string vibration directly to the body, delivering a natural and warm tone.

Ibanez Advantage™ bridge pins
These pins really are an advantage over old-fashioned pins. Advantage™ pins are easier to take out and easier to put in than standard pins. A special bulb-shaped end makes the pin easy to grip and also prevents the pin from being pushed in too far. Best of all, with Advantage™ the pin and string stay put.
