SRMS725

To the newcomer, the multi-scale concept may appear a bit unusual, but the biggest surprise may be how comfortable players become within a minute or two of playing the instrument. The different fret-to-bridge distances enhance tonality, creating a better sounding bass.

Features

- 5pc Maple/Walnut neck The 5pc Maple/Walnut neck provides tonal clarity and superior attack.

- Panga Panga fretboard Panga Panga features a beautiful wood grain which produces a tight low and mid range, along with a sharp attack on high end.

- Medium frets Medium sized frets enhance the accuracy of your notes.

- Okoume body The Okoume body provides a bright and solid sound.

- Fishman® Fluence™ pickups These Fishman® Fluence™ pickups are the first for bass to feature stainless covers. These unique pickups deliver Fluence Multi-Voice performance, impressive dynamic range, and outstanding articulation with no extraneous noise.

- Fishman® 3-band EQ This new EQ was developed by Fishman® for Ibanez and is built around a newly added mid control. The centre frequency for the mid control is 630Hz.

- Graph Tech® RATIO® machine heads Graph Tech® RATIO® machine heads facilitate easy, smooth, and accurate tuning due to their unique mechanism and design.

- MR5S bridge The MR5S bridge has adjustable saddles for variable string spacing by +/- 1.5mm, answering every bassist’s specific string spacing needs.

- Single Coil Mode switch (push/pull) The Single Coil Mode switch adds even more tonal flexibility to pickups.

- Fishman® Fluence™ Voice Select switch The Voice Selector switch offers players a wide palette of sounds to cover all playing styles. Voice 1 (Passive): Classic, fat and round Voice 2 (Active): Full frequency, full dynamics Voice 2 (Active with mid contour): Funk, Hi-Fi scooped Single Coil Mode: Same voices as above but with a narrower magnetic field

****Special Features****

- Multi scale The multi scale construction equalizes tension of each string and it helps to create a more ”alive”, open tone. But the design also improves player comfort. The multi scale construction ergonomically coordinates with the way a player's hand angles as it moves up and down the neck, facilitating quick, comfortable playing action.
