The JIM DUNLOP HENDRIX '68 SHRINE BAND OF GYPSYS FUZZ GUITAR PEDAL is a tribute to the legendary Jimi Hendrix, designed to recreate the iconic fuzz tone he used during several landmark performances. This special edition pedal features a custom finish showcasing the famous 1968 Shrine Auditorium concert poster art by renowned artist John Van Hamersveld, remixed by Simon Berndt of One Horse Town Illustration.

The design includes vibrant colors and psychedelic lettering, capturing the essence of Hendrix's unique style. Housed in a compact MXR mini format, this pedal is based on a rare Fuzz Face Distortion that Hendrix utilized between 1969 and 1970, particularly during the Band of Gypsys performance.

With its aggressive, snarling tone, the Band of Gypsys Fuzz sets itself apart from other Fuzz Face pedals in Hendrix's collection. Although the original pedal has been lost to history, its distinct sound has been preserved. The engineers at Jim Dunlop have meticulously recreated this tone by modifying the Octavio® circuit, eliminating the octave-up effect to deliver an authentic fuzz experience.
