The straight-forward approach to traditional music on the 5-string. Play something recognizable – without musical notation – in minutes! There’s no extraneous detail; instead, there is extremely simple, clear tablature with very good cross-referencing between the recording and the book. The Traditional 5-string Banjo method was devised and the music played by Peter Flanagan.
Peter’s method will produce instant results without having to learn any musical theory so you can enjoy traditional music right from the word go. Once you have experienced the pleasure of playing, this book will inspire you to learn more about music and the 5-string banjo. Peter Flanagan has also devised a similar package for the guitar called Pick Up the Guitar.
