Description

In the chamber music works of Bohuslav Martinus (1890-1959), unusual instrumentation was no exception; Especially his works, created in Paris in the 20s and 30s, are characterized by experimentation in sound and form. Four small serenades (1932) also date from this period, each intended for a different line-up. The serenades were published by Melantrich in Prague in 1949.
Instrumentation: Oboe, clarinet, 1st violin, 2nd violin, 3rd violin, 4th violin, cello.
