Maton's Redwood Series finds a distinctive voice by pairing plantation–grown Redwood (Sequoia sempervirens) tops with Tasmanian Myrtle (Nothofagus cunninghamii) back and sides. In a full–sized dreadnought with cutaway, that recipe translates into broader projection, effortless upper–fret access and a lively, modern feel suited to stage performance and contemporary recording.

Expect a Cedar–adjacent warmth from Redwood, but with extra treble presence and greater dynamic reach. Tasmanian Myrtle contributes smooth, Maple–like definition with added warmth and sustain. The result is a complex, overtone–rich voice that responds immediately to touch, whether you're strumming, flatpicking or shifting to melodic lines further up the neck.

Designed for versatility, this cutaway dread excels in band mixes and solo sets alike.
